We are thrilled to welcome Lorraine Widmer-Carson, Author and Founder of Grassroots Gratitude for a free, in-person workshop!

In this 90 minute workshop, Lorraine will introduce her perspectives on a regular writing habit, growing a gratitude practice in community and the importance of the pause - especially when the pause is spent in nature. She will read from her book An Ecology of Gratitude: Writing Your Way to What Matters and invite participants to dig into their own creative wells of inspiration.

An Ecology of Gratitude: Writing Your Way to What Matters is available at the Banff Public Library.
If you would like to purchase a copy for yourself, please contact Lorraine at lorraine@grassrootsgratitude.ca

The style of writing Lorraine encourages is deeply personal, encourages creativity and intend to build resilience. She will talk about paying attention to details, savouring the good stuff and figuring out how to deal with the bad stuff, in a friendly atmosphere of trust and acceptance. Come with a pen that you love, a bound journal as well as an open heart and mind.

Get ready to learn about the transformative power of writing your way to the good stuff, from a community perspective, on a Thursday morning in August.
