There Are No Good Or Bad Choices: Sometimes things work out, sometimes they don't

When it comes to life, it's hard to know objectively if something was a good choice or not. Same for a bad choice.

That's because nothing in life, or in money, is isolated with no other variables. Life is complex, and even if it seems like a simple yes or no, there are often other factors involved.

People often give advice saying what worked out for them, was, and thus is a good choice. Always having a fixed rate mortgage, not taking out student loans, living at home while at post secondary to save money. And it's great that those things worked for those people, but do they know what a variable rate mortgage would have meant to their finances?

What about taking student loans and investing the money they had on hand?
What opportunities would they have had if they hadn't lived at home that would have given them more money?
Join us to explore this some more, and learn a few ways to help things work out more often than not.
