Book Club is back at the Banff Public Library! Join us on the last Thursday of every month as we get together with Mojo Anderson to discuss different books around each month's theme.
January's theme is Award Winning Books. Learn which books are winning prizes such as the Giller, Man Booker, and the Governor General's awards. Get inspired to read, discuss your impressions, or just enjoy the literary conversation.
Mary Jo “Mojo” Anderson began her book publishing career in Toronto and went on to own an independent bookstore in Halifax, Frog Hollow Books, for almost 30 years. The store hosted hundreds of events with Canadian and international literary luminaries. Anderson produced and hosted radio and television shows including Choyce Words, a television show that spanned over a decade. She was a regular book panelist on CBC Radio and wrote a book column, as well as author profiles, for the Chronicle Herald. Since moving to Banff ten years ago, Anderson has interviewed authors at the Banff Centre for the Arts and Wordfest, continuing conversations with authors from around the world.
Please register for our Virtual Book Club below, and we will send you an email reminder with the link to the Zoom meeting prior to the event.
