Borrowing
Please bring your library card with you every time you visit the library. Your library card permits you to borrow physical materials and access online resources.
A library card is not required to attend library programs or to use the computers, Internet/Wi-Fi, or any materials within the library.
Twenty-five items may be borrowed at a time. Books, magazines, and audiobooks can be borrowed for 3 weeks, and DVDs can be borrowed for 7 days.
Items can be renewed up to two times, if they have not been requested by another patron. Renewals can be conducted in person, by phone, or online.
Banff Public Library does not charge late fees but encourages patrons to return their items by the due dates so that they are available for others to borrow. Late fees by donation are welcome.
