Banff Public Library is pleased to offer pick-up and home delivery services to patrons within the town of Banff.
Please give us a call at 403.762.2661, send us an email, or complete the form below with your requested items, and we will respond within 24 hours to arrange a pick-up or delivery time.
Patrons can request up to five library items at a time, and these items can be returned to the Library in our external book drop or exchanged in a subsequent delivery. Loan periods will be set to three weeks upon check-out.
It is once again possible to place holds and bring items in from other libraries in The Automated Regional Consortium (TRAC). Please give us a call at 403.762.2661, if you might require assistance.
If you are picking items up at the Library, please bring your library card or picture ID with you. We will need to verify your library membership at our front entrance before placing your items outside for pick-up. If you might need a library card, please complete our online Library Membership Registration Form.
Recent testing conducted by the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC), the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and Batelle, as part of their Reopening Archives, Libraries, and Museums (REALM) COVID-19 Research Project, found that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was not detectable on common library materials - such as hard and soft covered books and plastic DVD cases - after three days of quarantine. Banff Public Library has been quarantining all returned items for at least 72 hours since first closing its doors to the public on March 16 and will continue to do so going forward.
Please note that as the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we may need to cancel/postpone our Pick-Up and Home Delivery Services without notice.
