Temporary Closure Due to COVID-19

In accordance with the recent health measures implemented by the Government of Alberta to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Banff Public Library will be temporarily closed until further notice. However, we will continue to staff the library Monday through Sunday from 9am-5pm and can be reached by phone at 403.762.2661 and by email at info@banfflibrary.ab.ca.

Please do not return library items or leave donations in our external book drop at this time. All current items on loan have been renewed until May 15. Memberships that were set to expire in March and April have also been renewed.

The Library offers many fantastic digital resources, which can be accessed from home, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, newspapers, magazines, movies, music, online courses, and more. If you would like to become a member of the Library in order to access these resources, please complete our Library Membership Application Form and we will email you a library card number and PIN within two business days.

For the latest information about COVID-19 in our area, please visit the Government of Alberta and the Town of Banff websites.

Banff Public Library is committed to providing a safe and welcoming space to our patrons and staff and will continue to monitor the updates from the Government of Alberta to determine when it is appropriate to reopen and resume all services.

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we help to ensure the health and well-being of our community.
